Bingo!! The perfect evening entertainment

Bingo is a game that we all know but it’s one that not everyone has played for themselves - yet. There used to be a good reason for this. Most people associated it with being a game for golden oldies and, therefore, logic dictated that if older people enjoyed it, younger people assumed they would not like to play it.

However, just around the turn of the millennium, bingo underwent a revolution. The game became available to play online and, suddenly, bingo became something different, something cool. Now, pretty much anyone you speak to might be a bingo player, regular or occasional. You may not know that they do, but just do a quick straw survey among your acquaintances and you’ll find a surprising number have played bingo online. Today, with so many different gaming sites such as bgo and Winner offering a wide choice of bingo games, you can play bingo at a moment’s notice, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing. As easily as you might choose to play five minutes of Candy Crush, you can opt to play one of the many online bingo games from bgo.com and be in with a chance of winning a cash prize.

So, apart from the obvious possibility of winning cash, why do people of all ages now like bingo so much? When you play a few games, you’ll soon see that there are plenty of reasons.

For a start, it’s great value. Few games offer so much potential reward for such a small price. There are some amazing progressive jackpot amounts to play for. Many sites will give new players a welcome bonus when they first join. This means that a bingo account will go that much further whatever amount you put in. Games cost as little as a penny to play, and there are also lots of free games included on the majority of bingo site schedules.

Another thing to know about bingo is that it’s really easy to play. Even the bingo hall version wasn’t that challenging, but now when you play online the software does most of the work for you, so you can just sit back and watch how your cards are doing. While that’s going on, you’re free to take part in another great aspect of online bingo – chatting to other players in the bingo chat rooms. These are always fun places to hang out, as everyone there is in a similar frame of mind – they’re playing a game and they want some company while they do so. The chat hosts also spice things up with chat games, where you have the chance to win yet more prizes.
And as you don’t need to concentrate to play bingo, you can play it pretty much anywhere, especially as most sites have great mobile bingo apps. Games are over in a few minutes, so it’s perfect for those times when you’re waiting for someone to meet you, or if you’re sat waiting for a bus or train during your daily commute. Zone out and relax with a game of bingo and the time will fly by.

  2. I love Bingo, I have played it online but end up spending too much money. So, I prefer to play in the halls or on holiday. I always see Bingo as a seaside resort activity....don't know why....and yes, something for the older people to go.
But, it's actually fun to play.

    1. The great thing about bingo is that it's a game that the rules never change so its something that can be picked up really easily.

  11. I often play bingo and play both in person and online.. I'm not too keen with online bingo as I found the temptation to hard to refuse and usually spend a small fortune!

    Fabulous if/when you win though.

    1. Yes, playing online can be a bit like that as you can't see the money - always a good idea to set a budget and cash out when you reach your threshold
