You must have a flexible lifestyle. However, all of these mean absolutely nothing if you do not have a perfect modelling portfolio. There is nothing more important.

Nobody wants to run the risk of hiring an amateur. Of course, every model needs to start someone. However, you need to make the client feel as if they are not taking a risk. You need to emit confidence, professionalism, experience and expertise. These are qualities nobody wants in any individual looking for a job, not just those who are trying to make it as a model. Therefore you should definitely make sure that your portfolio looks professional too. It needs to be put together perfectly. Don’t incorporate an array of different sized images. Keep everything clean cut. You don’t want the messy presentation of your portfolio to distract from the excellent shots.
