I have never liked the top of my thighs.
They are my nemesis. No matter how much weight I lose I have a area of fat on my inner thighs that refuses to shift.
Recently my friend had Cryogenic Lipolysis done on her thighs and I immediately thought 'what is this witchcraft??!' So off I went to Google to find out.
Cryogenic Lipolysis (sometimes known as Fat Freezing or Cryo Lipo) is basically a non-evasive treatment which cools down the fat cells in a predetermined area so much that they crystalize and die. The dead fat cells naturally leave your body through the lymphatic system never to return again. The results are permanent unlike some treatments like Liposuction but can take up to 2 months to see the results.
After reading up on the treatment and watching some video's on Youtube I was sold. I love the idea of targeting a specific area and not having to go under the knife. As my friend had her treatment in another part of the country I found somewhere local - Ice Body Sculpting in Cardiff.

Arriving at Ice Body Sculpting I was looked after by Nerys who explained everything, took some details, pics, measurements & marked out the area's to be treated. At Ice Body Sculpting they have a machine that can treat 2 area's at once so both my thighs were done at the same time. A thin protective sheet was then placed on my thighs and then the machine is applied - yes the exciting bit!!

When the machine is turned on it should feel weird - after all its gonna be freezing some serious fat, but it doesn't really feel like anything. The machine kinda 'pulls' the area up and then it just does its thing. It is 100% pain free.

After 30 mins my legs were all done! Taking off the machine my thighs were cooler than the rest of my body & you could see on my skin where the machine was (this mark disappeared by the time I got home). Nerys gave my thighs a little massage using Eve Taylor's Body Contour Cellu-lose and that was that.
Driving home I could the cold radiating through my jeans but I felt fine within myself. I had a couple of errands to run and just went about my daily life.There is absolutely no downtime what-so-ever.
The treatment itself is very straight forward & the price won't appeal to everyone but Ice Body Sculpture do have some special deals on sometimes which means you can get more area's frozen for less!
Now it's just a waiting game to see if works... update to follow!

ReplyDeleteYes, it can! This treatment can do most fleshy troublesome area's - love the idea of it seems so much safer than liposuction.
